1. What is the Bank of England/ENG Lending Career Center?
The Bank of England/ENG Lending Career Center is the job information center for Bank of England/ENG Lending. The Career Center provides information on available jobs and provides a method for job
seekers to submit their applications to Bank of England/ENG Lending. The Career Center is available at anytime, and all applications are immediately available for screening by
Bank of England/ENG Lending personnel once the applicant has completed the process.

2. How do I use the Career Center?
To use the Career Center follow these steps:
- Click Job Opportunities.
- For the listing of jobs, select the method of displaying the jobs (All Jobs, Jobs by Division, Jobs by Location).
when selecting All Jobs and Jobs by Division you can click the plus sign, '+' to the left of the job's title to see the location(s) with openings
- Click the link of the job you would like to apply for.
- Carefully read the job description. If you meet the qualifications for the job, click the link to apply for the job. If not, click
on the Job Opportunities link and select a different job.
- Provide your personal information and click the button to get your Application ID, Click the button to proceed to the next page and answer the
Qualification Questions. The qualification questions are questions selected
by the Company and are used to ensure job seekers meet the necessary qualifications before providing an application.
- Complete the application, attach your Curriculum Vitae (CV) and provide your digital signature. (** Note: The file size of the CV cannot exceed 100 KB
and must be in one of the following formats (Word Document, Rich Text File, Text File, or PDF)**.)
- Fill out the background form and then digitally sign the release authorization.
- You will then be asked to answer some questions concerning the eligibility of Bank of England/ENG Lending to receive tax breaks for hiring you. Providing this information does
not have any effect on the status of any benefits you do or do not receive. It is to your benefit to provide the information.
- Depending on the position, you may be asked to take an online assessment. If there is no assessment you will be notified via a message on the screen that you have
completed the process. If there is an assessment complete the assessment. When finished you will be notified via a message on the screen that you have
completed the process.

3. I do not have an email address, why do I need one and where can I get one?
Our automated Career Center requires interested parties to establish and maintain a valid email address for the following reasons:
- For retrieval of a forgotten Application ID and/or Password;
- To send notifications during the application process;
- To contact an applicant about their application.
Free email addresses may be obtained by visiting internet sites such as:

4. How long does it take to submit an application?
The application has multiple parts. Along with the application, there will be a background form and the Authorization allowing Bank of England/ENG Lending to run a
background check. The entire process takes at least 60 minutes. Items to be
considered before starting the process:
- After submission of the first page you will be provided with an Application ID. Please remember it in case you have to return to the site to
complete the application process.
- Have information on previous employers, schools attended, any military service and business references available.
- You will be asked to upload a copy of your CV. Ensure that your CV does not exceed 100 KB, and the information within the CV is current and matches
the information you are entering into the online application.
- Complete each part of the online application. Your application will not be considered until each part of the application process has been completed. Do not skip
any questions because once a page is submitted you can not go back at a later date to supply additional information for the questions listed on that page.
- Be complete and truthful. Provide as much information as possible. Do not use your CV as a substitute for entering information in the application.
- Allow yourself at least 60 un-distracted mintues to complete the application process.
- We will inform you with an onscreen message when you have completed the application process.

5. What do I do if I have problems submitting the application?

6. I did not complete my application, how can I finish it?
If you did not complete your application, click on the following link:
Incomplete Application
This page will allow you to log into the Career Center and continue the application process begining with the page you left off (or possibly the next page in the process if
your connection to the internet was lost).

7. I cannot remember my Application ID and/or password, how can I retrieve it?
If you cannot remember your Application ID and/or password, click on the following link:
Forgot your Application ID and/or Password
The email address you provided on the initial page can be entered and submitted. The
Application ID and Password will be sent to that address. Once received, go to the Incomplete Application page and log in.

8. Who can view my information?
Bank of England/ENG Lending values the privacy of our applicant's and employees.
The information obtained from your application may be viewed by the Bank of England/ENG Lending Human Resources
Department and/or a designated hiring manager at the specific location(s) that you have applied to.
This information is strictly confidential. Email addresses that are entered by the applicant
as part of the application will only be used by Bank of England/ENG Lending for the following reasons:
- For retrieval of a forgotten Application ID and/or Password;
- To send notifications during the application process;
- To contact an applicant about their application status.
Email addresses are not shared with any third party for any reason.
The information entered on the background form will be sent to Sterling InfoSystems Inc. This information will be used solely to conduct the required background check.
Information derived from this form such as names used, your SSN, driver's license number and date of birth are not visible on the application or to any of the managers of
Bank of England/ENG Lending. The SSN will always be encrypted. It is encryted via a Secure Sockets Layer when sending and via an encryption algorithm when stored in the database.
